Btw, any Pharos users experience cloudy effect before? Was my first time experiencing cloudy since I first got my Pharos, quite fun. I thought it was going to rain :lol:

One of my nice true perc just choke himself!!

Accidentally dropped a big piece of frozen food into tank and he actually grab and refuse to let go. PAINFUL! :cry:

I see, was told that Tahitian moon sand was more for freshwater, that's why I never use it. Last time the hawaillian black sand no more. Any idea anywhere have similar black sand?

I also thought so but I have been using Tahitian moon 100% in my 1ft tank in the past with no problem. Colour didn't fade as what some overseas forum mentioned.

Total black sand like hawaillian black sand? Cos the pacific black sand is mixed with some white.

If maybe he's referring to Caribsea indo pacific black or ocean direct pacific black which are not totally black. They are live sand though. I'm actually looking for Caribsea hawaillian black or Nature ocean black beach, which I heard its no longer available.

Ya no longer available. I was looking for it too but Madpetz says the stock never came it for long and I find Hawaiian black too big in grain size
