Magfloat and NanoMag

im deciding between the magfloat and the NanoMag by Two Little Fishies.

Which has a stronger magnet and will do a better job to clean off algae more easily and effectively? especially those stubborn algae patches..

Have experience with the nano mag, i would rate it at 6. Does the job well, but dosent reach the corners that you would want to reach.

thats interesting, i would actually expect the nanomag for its size to be able to reach the tough to reach places easily.

I thought so too hahaha! But I was wrong. But got to give the magnet an 8 though, it's super strong compared to a lot of the magnets out there.

MagFloat, the biggest one.. Strong Magnet, Need to twist in order to separate it.. Use for my 10mm glass.. Cant really remove stubborn algae stains, need blade attachment to remove..

depends on ur glass thickness. nano mag doesn't really fit for >10mm IMO

Bought a nanomag few mths ago and found that the 'scrapping' ability is not as good as when 1st in use. Not able to scrap off

some stains it used to scrap off easily..

Using both . Nanomag surface area too small and can't really clean stubborn algae but can be reach to confined area. Magfloat is slightly better for stubborn algae but can't move to area that is near any rock or coral . Ended up expired credit card to remove stubborn one . End of the day , if u see any sign of algae , just clean it immediately .

You may consider Flipper, it will save your hand from wet. and it able to cover most area near rockscape due to thin and strong magnet. Cheers.
