SRC Member Greenmariner Posted December 29, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted December 29, 2012 I am thinking of getting a blue throat triggerfish. From available articles & chats on foreign forums, my conclusion is that it is a reef-safe planktivore. Apart from corals, I have snails & algae-eating urchins that I equally valued. In addition, I have a seagrass filefish. Would they co-exist peacefully? Would appreciate feedbacks from experienced reefers.

SRC Member Greenmariner Posted February 9, 2013 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 9, 2013 Yup...Had one... Never bothered my shrimps or snails. Thanks Bro for sharing. Since my post on this topic, I had increased my livestock by another two fishes. Three days ago, I saw quite a few blue throat & pink-tail triggerfishes at Irwana. Didn't buy as I believe my tank is already overstocked & I wanted to increase my sps collection. Still, I appreciate the feedback which might benefit other hobbyists thinking of buying this particular specie of triggerfish.
