what the best way to reduce No3?

Recommended Posts

Yes, ATS works. Reduced my NO3 to 0.68. Downside it consumes a lot of Ca. Dosing 80ml of Part A daily with additional separate 1 cup of Ca solution weekly, maintaining Ca at 380 and cleaning the ATS every 5 days. After switch to biopellets, my Part A reduced to 60ml daily, maintaining Ca @ 460. NO3 @ 0 to 0.25. Biopellets add a bit every monthly, but biopellets cost $100 for 1L. Both works. Cost and maintaining them are the 2 main factors here. Up to individual, what they are comfortable with. Water changes also works but for me, very tedious, unless yours is nano tank.

Vinegar? I tot is vodka?

Same... All go into the carbon dosing category...:) needs proper dosing as excess may end up as food for bad bacteria like cyanobacteria and such...:)

Fresh fishes and inverts! What's next? To the salty side of marine of course!:)
