Cycling Hospital or Quarantine tanks

Is it necessary for a hospital or quarantine tanks to undergo the same cycling process? I've always wondered. If that's the case than when the fish sick... must wait until the hospital tank cycle issit? - puzzling..

The quarantine or hospital tanks must be cycled for the already stressed and sick fish. That's why it is quite hard to maintain one because you must constantly give the bacteria in that system a source of ammonia so that they won't die off.

Whaa, if that's the case - then very inconvenient. That means better to cycle both display tank and QT tank together? just in case fish intro after cycle kenna disease

How elaborate a setup does the QT tank has to be... overflow, sump and all?? You have any picture of yours? Can post for me to see... If not, no prob bro.
