SRC Member Evolutionz Posted February 19, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted February 19, 2013 Hey guys, i have a 34L tank with currently some zoas and ricordae inside.. i do 10% WC every week with red sea coral pro salt. i read online that major nutrients like calcium and mg are supplied by the weekly WC i do but im wondering if i need to dose extra other stuff like trace elements or strontium for my corals? and if i need to, what brand and what kind should i use? Thanks! Quote EvolutionZ's Floating Reef: (Decommed) EvolutionZ's 4ft shallow Mixed Reef Build :

SRC Member jxlex Posted February 20, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted February 20, 2013 Just check ur major elements (ca Kh mg)... If they are stable u should be fine... For zoas shldnt have the need to dose if swings ain't bad... Regular small water change will be useful since its small tank and if u can afford the time, daily or every other day change small small amount shld help to maintain most parameters... But only when i start stocking up the tank with more fishes and corals.
