Hi guys,

New hobbyist here. Wanted to start with a small tank and has decided to go for the ecopico tank.

Anyone can advise where can i get one in singapore? Googled and there seem to be only one dealer in sg, in boonlay, where they do not have stock at the moment. Would be great if someone could tell me where to get one of those awesome tanks. Thanks in advance!

The one at Boon Lay is Reef Systems, they are the distributor. You may want to contact Madpetz, one of their retailer. ;)

Hi lukas, and welcome to SRC.

Since you are new to the marine hobby, I would advice that you should start off with as big a tank as your budget or space allows. Small tanks are more difficult to maintain as they are less tolerable to any water perimeter swings, so do consider going for at least a 2ft tank.

If it is not possible to go for a bigger tank, then go really slow in stocking with a small one.

Cheers, and happy reefing!

Thanks guys for the replies.

Ya i called up reef systems and they'll have no stock at the moment. Madpetz has dymax IQ series but i heard acrylic glass arent the best options as it gets scratches too easily?

I'd go for a bigger tank but it might not be too likely yet at the moment. So i'll go slow on a small and simple one. Its a lot of work im sure. Might even go for a freshwater reef first.

Anyway, ecopico tank, anyone any idea? Thanks!

Thanks! they look great. Maybe i'll checkout some pet store this weekend, was thinking if the fish store at plaza sing has more choices. Will update the tank when i have it! :groupwavereversed:
