How many different weld or solvent that require for joining?

Hi bro,

There are many brands and type of acrylic solvents in the market. People usually use Weldon 3/4 and 16 for acrylic project. Weldon 3 is water thin, very fast set, solvent type adhesive for acrylics joint whereas, Weldon #16 is gel type having stronger bond than 3. It is especially useful where fast cure and high strength are desired for applications such as large housings, signs and industrial fabrications. Beside the above, people also use it to seal leaks for the acrylic tank and it works well.

For me, I use mainly MTC-90 liquid solvent and Acrifix IR0192(gel type)purchased from DAMA for all my acrylic projects. Quality wise is comparable but price is much cheaper than Weldon brand.
