Thanks bro for the replies. That model i find it warm. How often does it kick in?
Hmm.. Sorry.. I'm not home often enough to tell how often it kicks in. But in comparison to the HC300A, when i was using the 300A, I always hear it on when I come home and feels like it was constantly running.. But with the HS90, I don't hear it kick in that often and on the average think it takes bout 10-15mins to cool 0.1 degrees. And yup, as what bro kayakkite say, all chillers will have a warm exhaust, or rather, should have.. Otherwise means something abnormal liao.. Haha..

Hmm.. If heat is your concern, I believe the only way to go about it is to install a condenser unit that sits outsider.

But honestly speaking, the heat generated from my 1/2hp chiller, doesn't significantly affect the temperature in my house.

compressor is more energy efficient in the long run, my 1hp daikin takes 2mins and 30secs to bring temperature down by 0.1 deg, doesnt kick in that often also.

Plus it is housed in the air con ledge, thus in the living room, there is no noise and heat.
