buy those bottled ones lah.. easier.. anyway garlic not much juice.. you will have a hard time.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

I saw from one of the threads here last time. the bro actually put all the garlic into a blender, chop them up then squeeze out the juice using a kopi sock, the one that coffee shops uses for making coffee.

and take a smell at ur palms.. nice~ :eyebrow:

Everything's sold. Back in 2yrs time.

Hi there, it will probably be better to use bottled Garlic Guard as these are the concentrated forms of the active ingredient in garlic, Allicin, that kills bacteria. Apparently, research has found Allicin to be heat sensitive, prolonged grinding in a blender if heated might deteriorate the Allicin.

But Ryz you need to see the bottle type want.. THere are lots of difference between the quality of a squeese garlic and the bootle type..

The bottle type is more stonger and you take a great sniff ..ITs very strong and the colour is different. Ownself squeese garlic is yellowish in colour but the bootle type is brown in colour ... hahah but of course Its expensive.. haha how is your exams coming up?

Can advise how to soak BBS ? Is it just let them swim in the garlic juice and dump them in the tank ? Just like we have drunken prawns ?

ermm whats BBS? ... For me I let the live fishes or shrimps swim in the garlic juice for a while.. then feed it to my lion. Good to dilute a bit cos the live feed become blur blur, esp FW shrimps..

Kent Garlic Xtreme is better.

Was using Garlic guard and my blue tang kanna ich, condition quite terlok and refused to eat. Then I switched to Gerlic Xtreme and it started to eat again. Only bite the mysis but split out initally. But better than totally no interest (when using garlic guard).

Thanks for all the advises. Will buy Garlic Guard when I have time to drop by E-aquarist. Can someone tell me how do we culture BBS?

what do you mean culture? They are easy to hatch... follow the amount of salt to water and add eggs.. you should be able to see them hatch by the 2 day...fully hatch by 3rd. Only thing is, never easy to make then grow really big..

I use Raffles brand Garlic 5000. Can be found at pharmacies. Real concentrated stuff that works like a charm for me. Just that after bursting the capsule and getting the stuff on my fingers i smell like garlic the whole night.

Always something more important than fish.
