Tank arrive and it slightly bigger than I expected. Not sure with a big tank in a small house and also it comes with slight blip as tank maker unintentionally forgotten about my request for crystal front but the rest are all fine.

The piping in the overflow box are siliconed and left to dry while in a few days the maker will come over to my place again to FW leak test and also to fix up the remaining of the pipings as well as my special Tee-off request.

Finally, they will come again to top up sea- water to kick start the cycling. I will also have to transfer the inverts over earlier than expected as currently they are all in my toyogo box.

Below are the pictures of the Fluval Sea SP4 pump. From the initial look, the pump is quite solidly build and yes it is a ASKOLL pump. I have not run it yet but once I run it, will give a update on its performance, noise and heat.

Wah steam. Please let us know the noise/ heat/ head, your opinion ok? I spied GF+ pipping also haha.

Bro kkk121,

The motor block of Red Dragon and ATB pumps are made by Askoll. This Hagen Fluval one looks like a budget version of those overpriced godly quality pumps.

great looking tank! you'll be really happy that its so easy to touch any part of your tank and once you turn off your pumps, you'll get a good top down view.

Nice set up bro.

What is askoll pump?

As what bro Resser say, Askoll is a Italian company that manufacture washing machine pumps and not too long ago aquarium pumps. They are made famous when people found out that the motor block of some famous pump like the Red Dragon are actually from them.

I think so too, putting corals and maintenance will be easier. Catching fish out will be much easier as well too

Nice sump design. Many compartments for various purpose! Share with us how u going to organise ur sump?

Gonna keep it simple for sump, basically just FR and skimmer. The water that exit the skimmer compartment (front chamber) will fall directly into another compartment which I will put carbon and Ultralift media.

amazing and very neat setup

how big is the sump??

cheers jack

Thanks bro, will be messier when all the piping work are up.:ph34r::ph34r:

Sump I did not measure but should be about 2/1/2 feet in length. Cater more space for the 2 return pumps, in addition, a 25L reservoir tank will also be needed to be place in the sump.
