either from your other sps colonies or its been there all the while. Those non-hairy type are good and they ensure the acro colony is clean since its their home.

It might be a Tetralia sp. These crabs lives in acroporid corals in a symbiotic relationship. They are thought to be host specific, discriminating between species of Acropora. They are largely harmless to the corals themselves and may even keep the corals healthy.

I ever encounter a brown hairy one, with red eyes. That is harmful as i saw it tears off my SPS flesh & the SPS dies after a few weeks. It then shift to another colony. Needless to say, i have got rid of it already.
