Rowaphos outlet no need be near to skimmer. biopellet need to be near skimmer intake.

And best of the best is run both of them . Biopellet to reduce nitrate , rowa for phosphate .

WC is not only to reduce the nutrients in your tank, depending on what is in your tank, if you have sps, the WC will replenish the elements. if you have FOWLR, then less WC is ok.

Ic. Usually WC with NSW better or with sea salt?

Salt mix is a better bet, since it is more consistent in parameters, what's your tank size? banner_9.aspx?id=kraken&t=8
It will be 7ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

urevytub.jpg3y3eba6y.jpg6uvu7uda.jpgysybypat.jpg This is the existing tank Very empty nv stock up as wanna redo it to a bigger width and dun like the overflow design in the center which is facing my main door. Now at the stage of designing the sump for the new tank whether wanna put both reactor n FR in and with/without refugium. Headache. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Agree that the center overflow look a bit distracting. It looks like it is splitting the tank in 2. Any chance to redo the overflow? Mine is 6ft and overflow is on one side.

Yup u r right it seem to look like 2 tank. And the overflow is facing the main door of my office and my bro really hate it. Nv do homework before doing the tank and this is the result. Learnt an expensive lesson. No chance to redo it. Also the width is 1.5ft only i got problem scaping it. I already had it rebuild into 2.5ft and overflow will be in 1 corner will be ready in 1 mth time. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

So u r building a brand new tank with 2.5ft width? Can share how much is the damage? Since u r re-doing it, a piece of advise is to plan the top bracing carefully. Otherwise later when u put light will be a headache. I also learned the hard lesson.

My 1st Tank was 7ft x 1.5ft x 2.5ft come with a sump 2ft x 1ft x 2ft (12mm) with full height cabinet all made of plywood, NSW and some clown fish and chromis no LR at $8k.

The new tank was quoted about $7k, removal and disposal of existing tank about $800 . Comes with kapor stucture full cabinet 7ft x 2.5ft x 2.5ft(15mm), a 4ft x 1.8ft x 1.5ft sump, a 1ft x 1.8ft x 1.5ft QT and all the wirings.

I intend to hang up the lights so should not be a problem. Problem is i don't know if my existing light is big enough for my new tank.

Is it ok to pair them both with one flow and the outlet put near to the skimmer...?

I don't think u can pair both with 1 flow but i believe if 1 pump flow is big enough it can serve both.

Rowaphos output do not need to be near to skimmer ( correct me if i'm wrong) but bio pellet output yes.
