bro fuel

are these easy to rear?

wat i mean is that mine also mia after a few days

jaz like my doctor fish

thats why give up on them

but i hope yr advice can bring bcak my interest

cheers

rainfordis will thrive better in tanks that are more season..preferably with a bit of detritus buildup....a young tank is not suitable for these guys

Saw Fuel's tank before, been around for quite a while ...should be OK...

My tank is near to 2 years liaoz....so my rainfordi is doing alright ;)

(keeping fingers' crossed everyday..)

Haix..something is irritating the gills of my female yashia. Has been going on for 3 days so far already. Appetite still there. Gave it a slight hyposalinity treatment yesterday with some Aquamedi Befuran...put it back in the tank..still did'nt help. Somehow its ailment was recognised by the cleaner shrimp just now..the yashia slimpy opened its operculum to the approaching cleaner shrimp...and the cleaner shrimp grabbed onto something in the yashia's gills and actually propelled backwards trying to RIP the darn foreign thing out. Unfortunately its attempts were futile..my yashia is still breathing heavily. Have no damn idea what the heck is irritating its gills.:(

They were getting along fine at first..until the purple one grew slightly bigger..then the aggression started to show.. :(

Anyway..pic of these 2 shrimps..did'nt take note of the scientific name..gotta check it out from books...they are heliofungia commensals..now hunting for one small small plate coral for them..

Hmmm...did'nt notice..they might squabble..but they wun go all the way out to kill each other if your tank big enuff...my tank base area is 4ftX1.5ft....so they should have enough territory to sort themselves out. Once they settle at a spot they tend to stay there already. :D
