Clownfish Spawning Behavior?

Recommended Posts

Hai guyz.My female gold striped maroon has been very aggressive and territorial.Likewise for the male. The thing is,they are guarding this part of the sand bed.The female has been laying upright on the sand and swishing her tail vigorously to keep it clean. My fiddler crab lost an arm to her as it had entered that specific area.Any thoughts on this?

Thank you!

steak pls

Anyone?
hi, mine is ocellaris black n Bali clown but I suppose they exhibit same behaviour. They are clearing up area for spawning. They looking for a flat surface such as rock. Flat here doesn't mean those fully flat but when they sweep n sweep n nothing can be swept up, they will start spawning. If u have sandbed, it will keep sweeping until it find the glass bottom.
