dun noe ley see my frx all their skimmer water is yellowish in color oni my is reddish color n all our setup is the same lei.

anyone out there can help to solve my problem

u probably bought some corals that were 'coloured'. if u notice 2 or 3 tanks at lck 1#% , the protein skimmer also have red skimmate

hMm..true in a case tat my skimate sometimes is green in color.. cos i use powder form of phyto..

think so, u mean some coral can change the color of the water in the skimmer

Weird but true and i got scared myself.. when i'm cycling my water, my skimmer collect blue coloured water. I was like... shocked... but after 1-2 days it's normal again.

I tot the colour is also dependent on the food you feed them? I feed spirulina flacks and the skimmate is greenish.

I saw red skimmage with my own eyes at a LFS at AMK ave 4 too! Was very surprised when I saw it so I quried the owner. His explaination was that he dosed medicine to treat his fishes. Did you add anything?

Nope, its blk 114. If you cannot even remember if you did add anything, its most probable that you did added something.
