Ignore the 20degree , it's all about calibration , calibrate the refractometer with pure distilled water set at 1.000 .

U can get the temperature to 0degree but if the refractometer is not calibrated you'll get false reading.

Chill a few drops and then test the salinity seemed to be very troublesome..

Imagine preparing a barrel of salt water is already troublesome enough, and still must get the drops chilled? Haha no time to wait..

Get a ATC make and it will resolve this problem.
