SRC Member inwear Posted January 18, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted January 18, 2015 Do you see oil formed surfaced ? If yes, used a surface skimmer and connect to your protein skimmer. Easy and short term method is to used a piece of tissue and go over the surface. It should absorb away the oil droplets after a few rounds. Reduce bioload and find the source. I believe there's a dead animal in your tank.
SRC Supporter Harlequinmania Posted January 18, 2015 SRC Supporter Share Posted January 18, 2015 If the problem seem too serious, usually doing a major water change will rectify it .
