Hi,

White spot on my clown fish is getting serious now. Jia lat! Already feed them food with garlic juice since 3 days ago, but still not improvement. Please help!!! Did a major water change this morning... all parameters ok...

I'm using Marine-Chem "Eliderine" to treat white-spot problem. but you need to off P skimmer and UV-C. normally I treat it at night before I went to sleep. once I wake up will switch ON PS and UV again. to me is very good lor. I got it from Yashasii Trading. blk 123, #01-114, bukit merah lane 1.

What is hyposalinity? sorry i am new here...

Dipping the clownfish in saltwater that has a lower SG as compared to the water in your tank. Dip how long i can't quite remember sorry think its a few minutes.

Hyposalinity is adjusting the salinity of the water. This is only applicable for FISH only.

If you have corals and Invertebrates in your main tank you need transfer the infected fish into separate or quarantine tank and using the same water in your main tank. Then slowly lower down the salinity by adding freshwater.

IME if the clownfish still eating just continue using the garlic extract and avoid to stress your fish.

P.S. Make sure is white white ich not Brooklyn.
