Long tentacle anemone sick?

Hi I need some help with my sea anemone that I've got it for a week an a half already. It has been doing OK till today when I realised it's mouth has been expelled inside out. Is it dying??

Is the mouth bloated? or is there stringy stuff coming out of the mouth like its vomiting?

Hi bro, what happens if the anemone have chocolate sludge fluid coming out from it's mouth? Is this normal, or it means that the anemone is on its way to heaven? Can advise me too?

And also, how do you feed an anemone? I posted in another topic, but no one replies me. I'm new to this, and really need to be humble to ask more questions to learn and abstain from livestocks becoming dead-stocks. Can aso guide on feeding Anemone? Thank you in advance.

To target feed, cut prawns and direct it to its tentacles. It will grab and put it into its mouth. But be careful if you have shrimps or other fish that may snatch it away.

Just an update... the mouth is back in.

The tentacles still seems fleshy. It they become stringy and deflated, most probably won't gonna make it.

Which means Anemone feeding is similar to that of a sun coral shared by brother Wanwan. I see now.

Means its taking a dump. Anemone eat and shit from the same hole.

Make sure the prawn you feed is smaller than the mouth. Although the anemone can still eat the prawn, if its too big, it will just end up spitting it back out again and dirtying your water.

my practice in feeding anemone is to feed these small pieces at the end of outer region of the anemone. no difference lah but I think it kind of simulates the feeding reaction of an anemone better when it catches at the outer region compared to straight to the mouth.

I see. So the brown sludge that is coming out from its opening is fine?

And to be serious, I do not know until now that an anemone needs to be fed as such, i.e. like a prawn(or bits).

Great to know! My anemone did that once. Now not expanding that much. T_T
