Hey all, finally setup my tank after purchasing it from a fellow reefer! Hopefully can pick up and learn more from the gurus in the community :)

Gotten some dead rocks and eproxy them, still waiting for water to arrive...

Oh, these are live rocks after bleaching and vinegar soak.

Sure, currently having these in my sump:

  • Skimz SN143 protein skimmer
  • Biopellet reactor with NP bio-pellets
  • Phosban reactor with Rowaphos
  • Ehiem compact 3000 return pump

Would these be sufficient for a basic setup or anything i've missed out?

Nice transparent overflow box u got there. Can see ur durso piping.

Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.

Lightings : Ecotech  Radion XR15 Pro x 2 for Main Display Tank, Inled R80 x 1 for Frag Tank.

Chiller : Dalkin 1hp compressor with build-in drop coil.

Skimmer : Skimz Octa SC205i Protein Skimmer.

FR : H2Ocean FMR75 Fluidised Media Reactor with Hailea HX-2500 (Feeder Pump) running Rowaphos.

CR : Skimz Monzter E Series CM122 Calcium Reactor.

BPR: Marine Source Biopellet  Reactor with Continuum Reef Biopellet Fuel. 

Main Return Pump : SICCE Syncra ADV 9.0 & Jebao ACQ-10000 Water Pump.

Wavemaker : Jebao MOW-9 x2 for Main Display Tank & Jebao SLW-20M  Sine Wave Pump for  Frag Tank.

Water Top Up: AutoAqua Smart ATO Lite.

Bro it's 60cm X 30cm X 35cm. Yeah, will update the sump + more pictures :)

Nice setup bro. What sort of tank is this going to be? Softies, LPS, SPS, Fowlr? I ask cos your scaping might need to twerk abit for more room, that arch is abit too high and not many places to put LPS.

Yeah agree that it's abit too high. Was wonder if some zoas and anemone will be good there .

Transferred the prawns to the big tank and they seem so happy with a juicy starfish.

Also gotten 3 fishes from a kind reefer bro.

2 x Blue with yellow tail fish. Damsel?

1 x six line wrasse.

Tested water parameters on third week of cycling:

  • Temp 26
  • Ph 8.2
  • Kh 11.1
  • Salinity 1.025
  • Ammonia 0
  • Nitrite 0
  • Nitrate 0

Current List of equipments:

  • Skimmer: Skimz SN143
  • Lighting: Maxspect 120W
  • Chiller: Hailea 28A
  • Reactor: 2x TLF running bio-pellets, rowacarbon & Rowaphos
  • Pump: Ehiem compact 3000
  • Wavemaker: Jebao RW4
