Sea hares are incredibly efficient in clearing algae, could do away with the algae in a few days. but when that happens, you would need to find it a new home to prevent it from starving.. Some food for thought :)

You can keep snail, urchin, abalone, sea hare to help maintain the algae.

But the best is to find the root cause.

You using RODI water for topup and salt mix.

If not its good to start using.

You running skimmer to help export nutrient fast.

You clean your frozen feed with DI water before feeding?

If not better start cleaning them before feeding
