is your skimmer new? if it is, it still breaking in. It will usually take days or weeks for the skimmer to break in. For now just let it overflow or try to raise your skimmer until it stop overflowing.

Water level too high. Try raise the skimmer or turn the round stick to the lowest point (water level)
