SRC Member kapemasarap Posted December 14, 2016 SRC Member Share Posted December 14, 2016 How do you grow the coralline algae so fast? Does it come after the diatoms died down?Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
Admiraltian
Once ur big 3 hits the minimum required for marine tanks, Coraline algae will start to grow. Calcium 400-500ppm, KH 7-11dkh & Mg 1200-1500ppm. Keep these 3 parameters at higher but stable constant levels and u see ur Coraline algae growing fast as well as ur sps if u have any. 1 Quote Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture. Thank you for the tips. I'll look forward to buying test kits for these big 3 elements. I just killed off a platoon sized nudibranch and the feeling of satisfaction to see it falling off the zoas.Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
