New tank setup

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I been in FW setup for awhile, planning to switch over to SW setup.

Currently this is the list of equipment's I will be getting

Tank: Redsea Reefer 350 (like the sleek look of the tank)

Return Pump: Eheim 1262

Skimmer: Deltec SC1350

Lighting:  Maxspect razor r420r

Wavemaker: EcoTech Marine VorTech MP40wQD

Planning to keep LPS for now, and using liverock with NSW to cycle.

Any comments or suggestion to improve on the setup.

Thanks.

What is your tank size? Maybe you can share your tank and sump design so that we can advise you as well .

tank size is 120x53x50.

DT capacity is 275L, sump is 70L, so total volume is 345L

Gravity..as the tank is higher than the water line of my last compartment of my sump, when the float drop down n water will flow in..it works like toilet top up system..

Hi u can click on the pic n then zoom in for a closer look yea..From the ATO tank on the top right run a clear tube to the right side which connected to a small black valve (optional..its used for my wc), outlet then to the white float valve..hope my explanation good enough to be understood yea :)

Hi all,

the sump itself comes with the redsea tank.

The ato system (also included) is using a float to control.

If u guys interested, can Google about redsea reefer series. There's a few shop here selling the reefer series.

Btw, got no setup pics to share yet. I will only purchase and setup after CNY 2017 which I will share next time.
