morish idol

would like to ask all bros and sis any 1 have more than 1 morish idol in their tank?

as i remember someone mention somewhere here that morish idol are school fishes.. and sometimes seen a pair in the open sea.

moorish idols do grow up to be very big fishes..u have to make sure ur tank is big enough..and they are reef-UNSAFE..they will gobble up almost everything in their sight..plus healthy specimens are very rare...so do consider first b4 u buy them..

Unless you have a mated pair or can afford a school, it's not safe to keep just 2 cos most marine fishes are extremely territorial.

generally not reef safe..but if u are lucky it is reef safe?

MINE!! ke ke...... 3weeks plus coming to a month liaoz. waiting for the top fin to grow back... came almost without any. grew back 1cm liaoz... cant wait for MORE!!

pecking on rock for food but so far have left my coral alone. whew!!
