When i just started my tank i had nutrients problems and was struggling to keep sps where i lost most of the colony i bought. To fight this problem i decided to get a tank to maintain my Tank. I got a 4x2x2 tank to be used as a refugium in an effort to reduce nutrients to undetectable levels.3d0ecf3e52529f04931a85824eb09f90.jpg

My new ice fire enchinata is also dying from the tips ( i dont expect much from it as its new and also a difficult coral to keep)

I also realised my green pocci colours are not as green as before. Anyone have any idea what caused this?
Could it be due to the lack of trace elements? As i do not dose any trace elements other than calcium alk and mag from the calcium reactor and only do a 2.5% water change weekly

Try checking your iron level , I just discover this for myself too that my iron level in my tank is very low. Which maybe is due to the big refugium tank I have.

Iron will affect the green of the corals.

Ok thanks....initially i suspected potassium and tested it to be around 370 ( still not too far off i guess) but will be expecting to start adding trace elements to bring up the levels.
