noise of the MD55 pump

Heard it last evening....Anthony is not exagerating....his MD 40 gives out terrible sharp and irritating noise(LOUD)........ He bought it from our sponsor recently(2weeks old)....think something is wrong..(Something should be done soon to ensure customer confidence :erm: )

is it..? then free come my place to hear my "sub woofer"...

My MD40 also have that terrible sound in the begining. I turn it on/off a few times and then the sound is gone. Have been running since then without that noise.

Perhaps you want to try that?

IMO, i think your sound might have been caused by the air trapped in the impeller.....but theirs are the motor itself....

send for exchange lah....any warranty for such an expensive pump??

the sounds surely not caused by the air. It is very high pitch "yeeeee" sound. Maybe this pump needs to run it? Since mine seems to work well so I just didn't bother too much about it.

mine yeeeeee come and go very often ...

+ the humming sound also so noisy .

My Resun MD40 pump also produce very high pitch noise at times, has stop using it since :angry: .

Now running on my Iwaki MD40 from Benz, very quite as compare to Resun. Also Resun pump run very hot which might not prolong their life span, IMO.

For people with noise problems on their MD40, I have some spare parts coming in in my next shipment and I'll take a look at your pumps then. Sorry for the trouble.
