bubble with acropora

Bubble coral can be kept together with acropora. I keep both in my tank.

However, you got to be careful with the placement.

Acropora need strong lighting, strong current and excellent water condition. Bubble coral can only take low to moderate current, moderate lighting and good water condition but not as critical as for acros (SPS). For a tank with SPS, normally the flow in the tank is very strong to cater for the SPS. So you will have to look for a location of low flow in your tank to place your bubble coral. Too strong current will prevent your bubble from expanding fully. Too strong direct lighting is also not good for bubble so a semi shaded area from your 250W or 400W MH is preferable. You can check the placement in my tank at the link below.

One more word of advice. You got to be sure you have the correct equipment like sufficient lighting, good skimmer, etc and enough reefing experience before embarking on Acropora or any other SPS. It's not an easy coral

Maybe you are already ready :D .......well just my 2 cents.
