I just purchased a six line wrasse.

I released it into my aquarium and saw it swimming between the rocks. next thing i know, i never saw it again. anyone can give me an explanation? is it dead? should i remove the LR to look for it? or should i leave it alone?

It may be hiding under ur sandbed...wrasse always do that...

oh ya, now that u mentioned it. so i guess it will pop up every now and then?

Once it adapts to ur tank, it'll comes out more often. I've a yellow wrasse for a few months now. When i just bought it, it went straight into the sand. There was no sight of it next few days, then soon after it pops out.

Nowadays when sunrise, it'll appear and will dash back into the sand when the lights are off.

6 line wrasses love to perch themselves between a rock and lay there stationary, especially when lights are off, you may be able to see it using your torch, kinda cute behaviour if you ask me. Give it bit of time and it should be out soon.

Got it. Its now swimming actively ard the tank, much to my delight.
