SRC Member Validator Posted February 6, 2022 SRC Member Share Posted February 6, 2022 Hi all, I am using a flipper magnet cleaner to clean my glass. My daughter also helps with the tank cleaning occasionally. I noticed that there are some stubborn algae stains that are harder to come out. Any advice as to what I can do? I thought of getting those laundry brushes with the stiff plastic bristles, but worried what it would do to my tank silicon joints and whether it would scratch the glass. SRC Member Validator Posted February 6, 2022 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 6, 2022 Hi SRC, yes I am using one with the metal blade, but some parts of the glass I think the algae has settled in quite hard. Keep running the flipper over it also some does not want to come out.

SRC Member Validator Posted February 6, 2022 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 6, 2022 Hi Harleyquinmania, I have been using this. https://www.freshnmarine.com/products/flipper-aquarium-algae-magnet-cleaner?_pos=6&_sid=6321367d6&_ss=r I could try the one you recommended but I am not sure how strong I can exert on the stick. Kinda regret getting such a deep tank. I think if I ever restart the tank I would do a shallower lagoon.
