Taking it that you are still using the same brand of bulb.

Your old bulbs would have weaken over the last 9 mths. So your acros and corals have gotten used to your weakened intensity of light.

When you reintroduce a new bulb...you would need to reaclimatise your corals to it again or there's a possibility of them getting shocked. IMO, the bleaching of your acros could be due to this problem.

Raise the height betw ur MH and ur tank. Slowly lower the MH every wk over a period of 4wks. :)

The bleached tip is ok as long they r no subject to further stress leadin to RTN. It will take some time for the color to come back again. ;)

wow... 4 weeks?? really take dat long??

People do not plan to fail; Often they just fail to plan...
