Food for goniopora

Hi,

I have a goniopora that I have been feeding Coralife Invertebrate Target food and Aquaz supreme mix.

I was wondering what you guys feed to your goniopora, especially those who managed to keep it alive for > 1 year? Care to share?

The 4th link was what I am afraid will happen eventually.

Mine is not open as fully as before.

Do you think phytoplankton alone is enough to sustain the coral? How long have you guys been keeping this coral?

Bro, they'll do better when they have trace elements of molydenum and maganese... So very often when you dose trace elements, they get wat they need.... but just keep a lookout for these 2 elements when buying trace elements...

Try Salifert's range of trace elements, read the contents...

Got just one bottle of molydenum itself anot? I want something thats highly concentrated.. Tried tat before.. didnt work out as expected.. gonio bleached after 1 year..

Bro, they will capture the artemia, but dat buy itself would not be sufficient to sustain their life... after a period of time, they start receding...

Hi bro,

No problem at a;;, like mentioned in the previous post, I'm aware that one of the trace elements additive from Saliferts have the 2 elements in one bottle, I dun reckon anyone to use a pure molydenum or manganese additive, it's proportions required in a reef system maybe too hard to measure and also I dun tink there are such testkits available... So use a broadbased trace element additive that would enhance the entire system...
