Ionic Imbalance?

Hi all,

noticed that the PH in my tank during the photoperiod is about 8.2, but when it comes to the end of the photoperiod, when the PH is supposed to be higher, mine's 8.05.... I remember reading somewhere that it's a kind of ionic imbalance, but cant find the article to affirm my thoughts...

Anyone can advise if there's a cause for worry??

It's alright

The PH fluctuates throughout the day, hence it's best to fix a specific time to take yr PH readings. eg: test at 4pm each time

PH will also swing when lights on and lights off

No prob.

ppl who run CR have then PH swing from 7.9 - 8.2

As long as your coral dun show signs of stress, and doesn;t drop below 7.8, there is no need for concern.

If it ain't broken, dun change it

Me not running CR, dat's why I'm worried... if I add a CR, den it might drop below 7.8...
