Got a few zoos from reborn a few days back. Did a freshwater dip and a bit of shaking just to check and makesure no uninvited guests Now got 2 rocks not opening up.. While the other is opening a little only... Scared they die w/o opening at all.. Is it due to too much light? Too little? Too much flow? Tank full 2ft deep to sand bed Position of zoos: 1 3/4ft down from lights Running: 150W MH 20KK 250W MH 10KK temp: 27.0 - 28.5 Thank you

When i was using my EV180, I only got wet skimming No matter how low i tune, it's eithre wet, else all the gunk gets collected on the riser neck instead But i prefer wet skimming then gunk on the riser neck which is a pain to reach to clean U can try turning off yr skimmer during feeding times

Been using salifert amino acid. Would recommend it Never used anything else, other than iodine for softies

Do watch out for the bin. Some plastic get very brittle after a few mths to a yr Close yr gate valve to bring the water level abit higher, cos from pic i see the foam at the riser only

Not really must know when to take to initiative to do things and not wait to be told to do things System for army is flawed in some sense.... Ppl so dame fit get pes E or F, and those with truely got problem are overlooked To qualify for OCS min 'A' levels / Dip / yr SIT test results / peer appraisel / yr PL commander interview / and more imptly yr fitness I have seen lots of ppl get into OCS but fail ippt / SOC / SEOC or "those" cases where they are not allowed to commission cos of their poor performance during the terms in OCS. Train hard and be careful! Dun OOC like me... injury and get downgraded! Depending on yr perspective: U can take it as 2 yrs of time wasting, or 2 yrs of learning. Learning to live with ppl U hate, ppl u can't stand, and ppl who are yr true buddies If dun make it for OCS, dun need to dispare. Army is just another phase in life tt we guys have to go through. U don't need to go to OCS to have a never say die spirit! Everyday is a new challenge To Lead, to excel to overcome. Never say die!

You can try (1) run the pump external (2) Have a or 2 fan blow at an angle across the water surface just above the lighting ie: not those small 4-6 in a row kinds, but 6" table fans (3) Insulate the non viewing sides of the tanks (4) setup tank away from external walls of flat/ building (ie: along the internal structural beams) (5) set chiller away from tank in WELL-ventilated area (6) raise the lighting higher >6" hope one of these helps Lets see those cute cold seahorses But good tonic for the body when sun dried...
