Hi guys, I think it's time to share with you guys my Nano system (: (:

Tanks

I have 3 2ft tanks(Standard tanks that is 18inch high) - bought it from yahoo auction together with the stand, drilled holes and pipings ($75 for all)

I gave my bro. The bottom tank and replace it with a custom made sump(from ML) I bought from a reefer here for ($100)

All Loaded with DSB(2.5-3 Inch)

Lightings

I got a reefer to make a canopy for me with 2 T5(1 white 1 blue, HO) ($150)

Thats for my top tank which I intend to have corals.

There is no light in the 2nd tank - not yet.. thinking of what to put.

I got a spot light on my ceiling above the tank that helps me see the fishes inside the 2nd tank.

For my Sump, I got a 1ft PL light - I think its too weak, finding other options ($13)

Sump and equipments

I got Resun FR, which works perfectly fine serving its purpose - phos-abosb inside ($30 with new meida)

Skimmer, I got a Prizm Redsea Skimmer(Not the biggest model) - ($100+)

Loaded with DSB (4.5 Inch)

Algae in the Refug.

Some bioballs which I think does'nt work - removing them soon

And 2thin layers of cotten filter.

My tank has been running for 1.5 Months, came out from cycling 2weeks ago

Currently having brown aglae, but it will go away - I just installed the FR yesterday.

Planning to get another smaller FR for carbon(Do u think I can mix phosguard and carbon??)

Planning to get more LR for my 2nd tank.

Cheers!
