FR Setup

Hi bros,

Any advice on how to setup an FR. Any reccomendations on models etc.

My Tank is a 4 ft tank.

For my 4 footer I use RM FR standard

Very easy to setup, just connect the 2 bulkheads with hoses and pump in water to the inlet hose

What brand is RM? What is the budget? The FR to put on the floor or hang somewhere? Thanks for advising

RM=Reef Maniacs

FR is done by joe_p himself and the workmanship is great

There's also another which is the FR Professional series which have a bigger tube and a GAC reactor.

For my unit I place it on the floor (can see from the pic right?)

Any alternative to using an FR, my place quite limited and not so safe for my little onw leh. Also not using the sump tank method.

wah, blue heaven, u actually had a return pipe just for ur FR??? cool!!!

Y not return it directly to your sump?

No la, the pressure not so high as to go up a return pipe (gd idea though)
