Gouldian
Actually moon (Favia & Favites) "are quite tolerant to water motion, though extremely strong current may prevent full polyp expansion" Eric Borneman. Thus I don't think an indirect from your 820 is the cause. You may want to check out other factors Quote "Reefs, like forests, will only be protected in long term if they are appreciated" Dr. J.E.N. Gouldian
If it is RTN then will spread loh. On the safe side I will try to dip it in Lugol Solution. I have tried that for my favites when I got it and I suspect it is RTN. Quote "Reefs, like forests, will only be protected in long term if they are appreciated" Dr. J.E.N. SRC Member surfedelic Posted January 6, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted January 6, 2005 Try to move it to a low flow area with some shade and observed if there is any improvement. Favites dont need high flow - they come from low to mid flow. And they dont really like alot of lights ...from my observations. I might be wrong.
