finally got the tank setup today. waited one week for replacement tank..

tank made by gerald.. excellent service.

12mm thick to support the weight of my hood and MH lights

running RM mini beckett driven by rio32hf.

ehiem 1262 as a return pump.. was told it is too strong for my tank.. cant test yet as waiting for silicon to dry.. =(

Check or overflow teeth

Seems too be too small and too little.

Mine was done my Gerald also and the teeth was too small so had to do another set. ** better do a water test before adding yr salt

I'm running a 1262 as return and it is NOT strong in anyway....

the overflow not suppported below... it is safe as it is using the corner of the tank as support..

If too small then yr main tank will overflow cos the water can;t flow into yr overflow compartment fast enough.

From yr pic, I can see tt you're using a seperate black acrylic attached to the glass.

Run yr tank with yr chosen pump:

If never overflow ====> Then leave everything as it is.

If overflow === Rip out the black acrylic and replace with another tt has more teeth OR DIY one using egg crates

** but i think the yr tank maker should be able to provide a replacement

finally scape up my tank... at first the flow not flowing into sump fast enough.. damn kan chiong... finally got it solved... lucky overflow teeth no prob.. phew..

added my pink yuma in to kick start the ANN cycle..

PS: its already melted so don flame me..
