anyway overflow works at the way it will stop siphon when return pump off and auto restart siphonning when pump start back

can i do without the outside box ? that mean i have the internal box and the output flow directly into the sump.... becos i got no space to place the outside box...

if i'm not mistaken this will create a full gravity siphon, one of the problems with this is the traditional toilet bowl sound

so i do not think u can do without the outside box

no............

internal box do no help to restart the siphon action!

it is the ext box buffering region which restart the siphoning only

internal box jus a part where water get in ,blocking fishes with those teeth like thing.

amount of siphoning may also depend on the size of internal box not to get the size volume of return too..........!

besides, i believe that someone decommissioned his tank and so has no more use for the overflow box, might as well sell it and share the marvelous work of hermit with others

about wrong advice i give, he probably still dwells over the incident where i stood up for a reefer whom everyone thought did the wrong thing with his setup, but what happened in the end?...he posted his tank pics, he posted one reply showing his knowledge and preparation before starting on the hobby and everyone was impressed.

but u didnt participate in this post since it started in 16 Jan...and all of a sudden u came in to straight away shoot shoelevy when he did not say anything wrong...all he said was seeing the design with hermit correcting it to be the concept and all of a sudden u just come in and critise him....

a lack of knowlwdge doesnt mean know nothing at all...i really dont see what shoelevy said wrongly...he might really understand the concept....and posting his views ...and that doesnt mean that whatever is says is definetely wrong just because of a few wrong facts he posted in the past...no one is perfect.....u also do not know everything...
