Clown Tang..

Hi all,

Has anyone kept or is keeping a clown tang?? I am thinking of getting one and is doing my research first.. Most info from the web says that it is a difficult fish to keep, something like the moorish idol... can anyone confirm that? Is it really difficult to keep?

And does it fight with tangs like yellow, sailfin or purple?

it needs mature tnak..have lots n lots of oxygen in the tank..if not cnanot

Maybe I am lucky , its never gave any problem other than its a agressive nature

mine's with me for a year plus too... Very aggressive tang. even attacks my magnet brush when i use it clean to wipe away algae...

haha mine does exactly the same thing

not really difficult to keep IMO. mine doesnt bother the other tangs cos its the smallest in the tank.

mine even attack me whenever my hands are in the water!!

had it for almost a year.no problems encountered except fot its aggresive behaviour.gave it away after had enough of its attitude.

Mine eats anything.... from pellet to vegetables to prepared food

Most likely it will bully your blue tang

Anyone like to keep this fella, introduce him last .. or otherwise its most likely be the last tang you can have in your tank due to the fast growth and very dominant nature.

clown tang need a very huge tang cause the loves to swim..had one before end up giving away..too big for my tnak
