What do rics feed on?

corals do not produce food by using bacteria but by zooxanthellae in their tissues.... that is hermatypic corals...... these zozxanthellae are actually algae so they use light to produce food... like photosynthesis and they actually feed the coral in return for protection....

rics if i am not wrong are these type of coral.... so yeah light is food to them... of course u can feed them small pieces of mysis shrimps... so that when the coral digest these food.. they break them down into phosphates, ammonia etc... as plant nutrient for these zooxanthellae algae....
