Help! Harlequin Shrimp spawned..

My harlequin shrimp just spawned...

now she's guarding her eggs..

Anyone has any idea what I should do now?

Must I take the mother and her eggs out of the tank??

i'll be hard to see the eggs through actually... but in most cases, the eggs, or if hatched, the babies would end up as fish food...

have separated the mother harlequin n her eggs to a separate container in d tank... hee hee... hope the eggs will hatch..

though not too sure how it'd go about..

Do pass me some of the brood when they've hatch...

She will carry the eggs under her tail for about 20 days then they will hatch after dark. you will need to feed them plankton or freshly hatched brine shrimp. they may not eat much during the forst 2-3 days after that they will get real hungry. you will also need to put them into a tank with out filtration. if you can vary the diet a little there is a much greater chance of survival

hi what do u mean by vary the diet? any suggestion?

liquid phyroplankton and/or liquid zooplankton?

rotifers, plankton brine shrimp copepods is a good mix
