SRC Member kaykay Posted April 5, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 5, 2005 Here's how I did mine... Start with the basic frame. I made the front and back rectangle frames first. Then screw in the top and bottom cross beams to form a box....
SRC Member kaykay Posted April 5, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 5, 2005 Then add a back panel. Cut a big hole first for all wirings, piping,s etc..
SRC Member kaykay Posted April 5, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 5, 2005 Add the side panels and doors..
SRC Member kaykay Posted April 5, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 5, 2005 I used those self-adhesive laminates for all the panels and hood. Wood can be purchased from 1 of 2 shops at Eunos Industrial Park. They'll cut for you. I use kapur wood. My tank is 3 feet. Hope this helps.. SRC Member kaykay Posted April 15, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 15, 2005 Skipper, You'll only need some plywood and some hinges, plus some stuffs to hold the plywood together. You can get the plywood from Eunos Ind Park, a shop call Chip Lee Timbers. Cheers..
SRC Member ervine Posted April 15, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 15, 2005 i thought SS should be rust free? i still to coat it marine grade epoxy paint...? it's rust resistant.. not rust free... especially when there's salt water around... and SS is expensive and not easy to find someone that'll do it for you
SRC Member hotlemond Posted April 15, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted April 15, 2005 you try clementi C328, they have stainless steel stand, but aint sure about its grade, look nice and strong though.
