Are bubbles & catseye compatible?

Hi guys,

Was wondering if bubbles & catseyes are placed next to each other will they sting each other?

Coz my catseye seems to have receeded a little after i introduced it's neighbouring bubble...

Also how exactly do u differentiate bubble from catseye? Coz i can hardly see the difference...
