Hi, I have a AquaPharm Kalk, wanted to dose but the instruction state 3g for 1 gallon of water...

My tank is 4ft = 67gallon plus Sump (3ft = 22galllon) , should round 89gallon

What is the amount that I need to mix the Kalk with water?

Anybody can kindly advice. Thanks.

please correct me if i am wrong, but i think 50 gallons= 190 litres of water. for a 3x2x2.5ft tank with 2.5x1.8x1.5ft sump like mine, its equivalent to almost 450 litres which is 120 gallons plus. usually for such addictives, i dose two capful.

DO NOT ADD KALK POWDER TO TANK DIRECTLY

you should dissolve the kalk in the distilled water or purified tap water and slowly drip the solution in the tank,......

just keep adding...the chances of overdosing kalk is really very very low...

i've ask this question when i was a newbie...try search for kalk in the "new to marine" forum...tons of info there..

I think it means you mix 3g of kalk with 1 gallon of H2O, then drip it into your tank.
