bro, u are right. its a triangular one and i got that from another reefer recently. i wonder how much he paid for it. . :D i am not sure of the pros and cons of triangular overflows. . my other main tank is a normal one and it works fine for me. . in fact i prefer it than this triangular one.

2 footer using rio20hf!!!!!.....powerrrrrrr

:bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

bro, actually i feel its a little too powerful for my two footer, perhaps a rio14 will do. . anyone wanna trade with me? :D the pump drawing out too much water from the last compartment as you can see. .

however, after accounting for the head loss, i think this rio20 (rated at 5400l/hr) becomes only about 3300l/hr approx.

Hi brother.

you intending to keep Frogfish, bamboo shark, eel and triggers all in the small tank? i think you will have troubles and problems with the water after some time.I personaly do not think a shark would cope well in it. It just out grow your tank sooner than u know. Maybe you would like to reconsider on the shark. as for frogfishes, eels and trigger shall not be a problem to keep together. Sorry, not trying to damper your interest.

Just a word of advise. i used to rear bamboo shark too but to no success. i bought from LFS thoses 30 inches one. It just don't Eat ! It starve itself even when live food is offered. Then slowly it winter away. Told myself maybe this shark got problem. Decided to try once more. This time a 15inches one from another LFS. Also died due to starvation. Maybe you would like to reconsider.. Just my 2.5 cents of thoughts.

It seems like reefer Lester is doing quite well in his sharks. maybe u would to ask him for more expert advises ??

Peace :D

bro, lester is my mentor now. . sharing with me his experience with the bamboo shark. . i understand the frogfish might not like too much disturbances in the tank, especially not from the shark. btw anyone has got pix of morey eel? i might add a couple of garden eel, it looks so harmless.

its a pity i cannot house any more tanks, or upgrade further. if not can keep a 4-5ft one solely for lionfishes, sharks, stingrays, frogfishes etc. . :D

p.s btw i saw a 6" bamboo shark in pasir ris tdy. its quite cheap, u might wanna give it a third try. . :P

bro, i calculated my total tank capacity is 49 gallons. For the time being the bamboo shark has to make do with his 1 room flat, next time then upgrade to bungalow. :lol:
