.... where most fishkeepers do not have the luxury to keep big 1000 gallon tanks for a bamboo shark.

Err ... bamboo shark need a min. 180 gallons (~ 5 feet tank) at adulthood .. no need for 1000 gallons ... :lol::lol:

The western websites and forums always advocate giant tanks for fishes which are really not practical in Singapore where most fishkeepers do not have the luxury to keep big 1000 gallon tanks for a bamboo shark.

wah!!!! imagine the electric bill for the pump that help circulate the water in the tank... not forgetting the eq to help maintain the water quality.... haha...
