Help!! Prata

I hope it's not here, but can someone advise what to look out for when selecting a prata? Think I have seen some which are somewhat transluscent, is that an indication of poor health? Or it's just my eyes?

Translucent mean u can see the skeleton inside?What colour? I may be no expert but my advise is to chose those that expand and the colour stand out .I see some luminous white green may be translucent when expand .And dun chose those that have skeleton exposed with algae on it,very hard for the prata to recover.

Translucent means can somewhat see thru the prata, and able to see the sandbed beneath it (faintly), as in your post "...see some luminous white green may be translucent when expand...", very similar to this. While I am not sure if the prata is healthy, I must admit that it looks very attractive, esp under artinic lightings. I don't think I saw its exo skeleton.

If only some of the prata zoo...algae( dun know wats the term called )hehe appeared to be translucent most probably it not bleach.This is what i think so.Can any senior out there verify!

But most inportantly is never put a coral beauty when you have a prata in your tank.Cos it their favourite snackkks!!!

My prata also bleached.... mak mak say curry will help it better.
