DIY will normally be cheaper... and of course you have not consider the bulb yet....

Most commercial lightings don't have the right bulbs or desired bulbs for marine......

and these bulbs do cost..... :blink:

My cost for lights and ballast should not cost me more than $500....

now to consider the canopy.....

Oh, the favorite bit, the canopy!

I botched mine up so bad you won't believe it. Hope you are better with wood.

O. for the ones I've found it's a complete set wih bulbs, cover, filter glass.. +++ and 11k bulb for 150W, and 5K for 70W

11K is close enough considering ppl use 10K or 20K as well.

as for the 70W 5K bulb, then tt will have to change
